"Working with Alexis has been a godsend. I’m guilty of only ever buying and wearing the same two colors and outfits so when I had a major vaca coming up, I asked if she could help me. I was planning to visit NYC and Europe back to back and didn’t want to look like a total tourist. 

Not only did Alexs put together a look book of inspo, she actually linked the items so I knew where to buy and showed me how I could pull from items I already own create new outfit combos. 

It’s been not quite a year since that vaca but I still reference that look book on the reg. And any time I’ve had another major trip, work event or general question she’s always helped me out. 

As IF that wasn’t enough, she’s also offered to go shopping with me to help figure out other ways to update my wardrobe. I used to be super guilty of buying fast fashion and since working with Alexis the quality of my closet had also improved. I’m slowly but surely replacing items with sustainable and ethical options that aren’t disintegrating after one wash.

"I sent Alexis two goals I had in mind of where I needed help, which included how to make the most of the items I already had and what essentials would help round out my closet. She came over to my place one Saturday afternoon and immediately helped me reimagine some of my favorite pieces that I was limiting to a select few occasions ( for instance, I only associated my blazer with work presentations). 

I think especially now that I've forgotten what an outfit even feels like, the outfits she helped me design before isolation will be so important to feeling normal again in the months to come." - Diana
